Thermal atlas
Where thermals were found on past flights. It opens on the whole year and the whole day; narrow it down by season, month, part of the day or time slot. Colour shows the mean climb; the overview shows density, cells appear when you zoom in.
Showing: November, Late afternoon 16:00–20:00
Not for use in flight. The thermal atlas is a statistic of past flights; it does not say where thermals will be today and does not replace a weather forecast or in-flight navigation. The pilot decides.

Only cells with flights from enough different pilots are shown. Pilot counts are never shown; tap a cell to see its support level (limited, medium, strong).
An empty area does not mean "no thermals"; it means "not enough data".
Wind data: Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD), ICON-EU, CC BY 4.0; processed with Open-Meteo, derived into wind sectors per flight.
